Tenders & Quotations

Mr Disma Attard has over 25 years’ experience in the operations of the company. Disma, in his capacity as director at DDE Attard Ltd, oversees the business development department, which is also responsible for submitting tenders and quotations proposals for a number of projects. Disma is also responsible for coordinating these activities and over the years he has been involved in a number of projects mainly related to industrial dismantling and removal of machinery including equipment, storage tanks, metal roofs and boilers; stripping and disposing of asbestos; and providing waste collection services and recycling solutions for hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams. In addition, he has also been involved in dealing with scrap metals, both in terms of their storage as well as the trade of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. While Disma is the point of contact of clients for any ongoing projects, maintaining positive relationships, he is responsible to identify new sales leads and attending industry events and meetings with prospective clients and contracting authorities.

Mr George Attard oversees the finance and administration function of the company. George has over 25 years’ experience in the operations of the company, and together with his brothers he was instrumental in diversifying the operations of the company into other sectors, allowing for commercial self-sustainability and a higher level of quality in all its activities. George, in his capacity as director, and together with the company’s finance department ensures that prices of ferrous and non-ferrous material are continuously monitored. Together with the company’s finance department, George, is responsible to spot potential opportunities, which are then discussed with all Directors and decisions taken.

Transport

Mr Joseph Attard is the director responsible for the operations of the waste management facility. Through the waste management facility, the company assists clients in sourcing and trading ferrous and non-ferrous metals, while also transporting and storing metals for short or extended periods of time. Joseph has over 20 years’ experience in the running of the waste management facility. He oversees the management of the scrap yard and coordinates employees for the running of the facility and projects outside the plant. Joseph is also responsible for coordinating all transportation requirements for the company which includes the collection and disposing of hazardous and non- hazardous waste streams, and providing haulage and contract lifting services such as the hiring of cranes and lifting equipment.

Yards

Mr Daniel Attard is involved in the operations of the waste management facility whereby the company assists clients in sourcing and trading ferrous and non-ferrous metals, while also transporting and storing metals for short or extended periods of time. Daniel, has over 20 years’ experience in the running of the waste management facility. Daniel is currently responsible for the maintaince and upkeep of the facility and all inventory and machinery owned by the company. In addition, he is also responsible for coordinating the maintenance programmes required within the scrap yard on all machinery, equipment and inventory owned by the company. He is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring that all machinery and equipment are kept to their highest standards.
